A marketplace for digital goods and services, built in Lagos.
Who we are
PlugZone is where Nigerians buy and sell digital things: subscriptions, accounts, software, templates, courses, and services like design, editing and websites. The sellers are called plugs.
We started it in Lagos because buying online here too often means sending money first and hoping.
Why escrow
On PlugZone no one goes first. When you pay, PlugZone holds the money. The plug delivers, you check it works, and only then is the plug paid. If a plug misses the delivery time, the money comes back to you on its own.
Plugs are protected too: the money is already there before they deliver, and it is released when the review window ends without a problem being raised.
What we allow
Things a plug created, owns or is allowed to resell, described honestly. An admin reviews a plug's first 5 listings before they go live.
Not allowed: stolen or hacked accounts, cards or personal data, malware and scam services, fake documents, cracked software, and anything illegal in Nigeria. The full list is in the Plug rules.
How disputes are decided
If something's wrong, the buyer says so before the review window ends and the money stays held. The plug has 2 hours to fix it. If they don't, an admin who isn't part of the order reads the order chat and the proof, and decides: a refund, a release, or for several items, a refund of only the ones that failed. Both sides see the reason.
