How PlugZone works, in plain words. Can't find your answer? Message support at the bottom.
Buying
How does escrow work?
When you order, your money is held by PlugZone. The plug delivers, you check it works, and only then you release the funds.
Nobody has to trust anybody first.
What if it doesn't work?
Open a dispute before you release. The funds stay frozen while an agent reads the order chat and decides. We aim to decide within 24 hours.
If the plug misses the delivery time, you are refunded automatically.
Can I get a refund after I release?
No. Releasing the funds is final, and the plug is paid straight away. Test what you bought first.
Where do refunds go?
Into your buyer balance, ready to spend on your next order.
Wallet
What are the two balances?
Buyer balance holds your top-ups and refunds. You can spend it, but not withdraw it.
Seller balance holds what you earn as a plug. You can withdraw it to a Nigerian bank account any time, or move it to your buyer balance.
How do I top up?
Pay by card or bank through our payment partner. The minimum top-up is ₦1,500. There is no account number to transfer to.
What does a withdrawal cost?
₦100 for amounts under ₦10,000, and 1.5% from ₦10,000. The minimum is ₦2,000. The fee is added on top, so you receive the full amount you type. Seller withdrawals are paid out automatically.
Selling
What does PlugZone charge plugs?
7% on goods and 10% on services, taken when the buyer releases the funds. There is no fee to list.
When do I get paid?
As soon as the buyer confirms the order works. That is the same for instant and manual delivery. The money lands in your seller balance, and you can withdraw it any time.
